Epicene Blue is the alter ego of a former writer, editor, & journalist now retired due to chronic illness & disability. During their career, Blue wrote under their real name/s & pseudonyms for hundreds of online and offline publications, and served as Managing Editor for two print magazines and three large online publishing networks. They also built their own online editorial business, supplying content to various entertainment sites, and their own entertainment site; employing several dozen freelancers at various times. Their proudest accomplishment is watching the talent they discovered and nurtured over the years blossom into incredible writers & editors with bright and successful careers.

Over more decades than they’d like to count, Blue also dabbled in fiction, poetry, songwriting, and various types of art. Some of it has even been published, recorded, & performed – although not by Blue! Severe social anxiety keeps them always behind the page, never on the stage.

Knowing that long term chronic illness has diminished their creative skills and abilities, Blue now writes and creates purely for enjoyment, no longer caring about the quality or success of the end product. This creative collective archive exists simply for self-therapy and to share with friends and family.
